The incidents panel shows everything happening in your territory — fires burning now, recent events, and your full history. It sits alongside the map so you can see incidents both as a list and on the map at the same time.
Use the tabs
Section titled “Use the tabs”Four tabs filter what you see:
| Tab | Shows |
|---|---|
| Active | Fires burning right now |
| Recent | Incidents from the last 14 days |
| Planned | Scheduled prescribed burns |
| All | Your full incident archive with filters |
Each tab shows a count so you can see at a glance how many incidents are in each category. The list refreshes automatically every 30 seconds.
Read an incident card
Section titled “Read an incident card”Each incident in the list shows:
- Name and status badge (colour-coded — red for active, amber for controlled, green for extinguished)
- Reference ID — useful for dispatch records
- Location — city and region
- Time — how long ago it started, or the scheduled date for planned burns
- Burnt area — if known

Search and filter
Section titled “Search and filter”On the All tab, you get the full search and filter toolkit:
- Search by incident name
- Filter by year, type (wildfire or prescribed burn), cause, size range, or source (manual or imported)
- Sort by date, size, or name
- Search area — draw a box on the map to only show incidents in that zone
- The map always syncs with your current tab and filters — markers update as you switch tabs or apply filters
- Active and Recent tabs are for day-to-day monitoring; the All tab is your archive for post-season reviews
- In training mode, only training incidents are shown
